On Tuesday, 3 February 2015, in the morning at 7:45, in Kauno city municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 101), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Premium and an Opel Signum. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Renault (40 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
