On Sunday, 8 February 2015, in the afternoon at 11:31, in Vilnius, on S. Moniuškos street near No. 32, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Saab 9-5 and a Volkswagen Sharan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Saab, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.03‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
