On Tuesday, 17 February 2015, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Prienų district municipality, Žemaitkiemio village, on Girios street near No. 12, a Renault 21 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
