On Sunday, 8 February 2015, in the evening at around 20:00, in Kaunas, on V. Čepinskio street near No. 5, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 528 and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was snowing, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
