On Friday, 20 March 2015, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on V. Krėvės pr. near No. 104A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen LT 35 and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Volkswagen LT 35 (6 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
