On Saturday, 21 March 2015, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Karaliaus Mindaugo pr. near No. 50, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a BMW 525 D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
