On Thursday, 26 March 2015, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 19.40), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Suzuki SX 4, a BMW 728 and a Fiat Ducato. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Suzuki (a citizen of Russia) (15 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
