On Tuesday, 31 March 2015, in the afternoon at 13:50, in Kupiškio district municipality, on the Jurkštai–Šimonys–Nociūnai regional road (kilometre 0.60), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a Renault Megane. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who violated overtaking rules. He fled the scene.
