On Saturday, 4 April 2015, in the morning at 9:30, in Alytaus district municipality, Panemuninkėlių village, on Normandijos-Nemuno street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Rover 620. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was snowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
