On Friday, 24 April 2015, in the evening at around 18:00, in Prienų district municipality, on Maironio street, a Renault Megane Scenic hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 12-year-old pedestrian, who committed sudden emergence from behind a vehicle, tree, etc.. The driver was sober.
