On Saturday, 25 April 2015, in the evening at 22:24, in Vilnius, on Lentvario street, at the junction with Juliaus Janonio street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Ford Galaxy and a Volvo V70. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Ford, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
