On Thursday, 30 April 2015, in the evening at 20:09, in Jurbarko district municipality, Burbinės village, on the Seredžius–Juodaičiai–Mituva–Keryvai regional road (kilometre 14), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Ford Mondeo and a BMW 318. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Ford (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed and entered the oncoming traffic lane. He was drunk (2.22‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
