On Thursday, 14 May 2015, at night at around 3:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 8.70), a Skoda Octavia registered in Latvia hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Skoda (a citizen of Latvia) (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
