On Tuesday, 19 May 2015, in the evening at 22:40, in Druskininkų municipality, Viečiūnų village, on Verpėjų street near No. 4, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Volkswagen Lupo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (11 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.67‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
