On Friday, 22 May 2015, in the evening at around 18:00, in Jonavos district municipality, on Plento street, at the junction with Naujakurių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 406, a Volkswagen Bora and a Volkswagen Bora. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
