Unlicensed driver's Gilera Runner moped rolls over in Avižienių village
On Sunday, 24 May 2015, in the evening at around 21:00, in Lazdijų district municipality, Avižienių village, on Morkavo street, a Gilera Runner 50 rolled over. One person was injured — the 32-year-old driver of the Gilera (hospitalized, was not wearing a helmet). The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Gilera, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
