On Thursday, 11 June 2015, in the afternoon at 16:50, in Biržų district municipality, Parovėjos village, on Medeikių street, at the junction with Spalviškių street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Galant and an Audi A6 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (2.52‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
