On Monday, 15 June 2015, in the afternoon at 12:50, in Mažeikių district municipality, on Žemaitijos street, at the junction with Sedos street, a bicycle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 14-year-old cyclist, who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
