On Monday, 15 June 2015, in the evening at 22:45, in Panevėžys, on Klaipėdos street near No. 143A, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 540 and a BMW 3ER Reihe. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the BMW 540, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
