On Tuesday, 16 June 2015, in the evening at 17:40, in Radviliškio district municipality, on the Baisogala–Augmėnai–Pliuškiai regional road (kilometre 2.69), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Yaris registered in Finland and a Saab 9-5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Toyota (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
