On Tuesday, 23 June 2015, in the morning at around 6:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Žadeikių village, on the Vėžaičiai–Žadeikiai–Endriejavas regional road (kilometre 8.73), a Volkswagen Vento rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (1.36‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
