On Monday, 29 June 2015, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 59.35), an Opel Astra rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Opel (25 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.89‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
