On Tuesday, 14 July 2015, in the evening at 18:23, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 278.50), a Mercedes-Benz C 200 CDI hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (18 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
