Drunk, unlicensed Baotian moped driver crashes in Skynimų village
On Sunday, 12 July 2015, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Šalčininkų district municipality, Skynimų village, on Sodų street near No. 12, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Baotian. One person was injured — the 23-year-old driver of the Baotian (hospitalized, was not wearing a helmet). The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Baotian (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.27‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
