On Sunday, 12 July 2015, at night at 4:47, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Smilgiai–Pakruojis national road (kilometre 4), an Audi A4 Avant ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
