On Sunday, 19 July 2015, at night at around 1:00, in Rietavo municipality, Medingėnų village, on Vytauto Didžiojo a. near No. 1, an Audi 100 Avant ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.87‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
