On Wednesday, 22 July 2015, at night at 2:40, in Kaunas, on Karaliaus Mindaugo pr. near No. 50, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.71‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
