On Monday, 27 July 2015, in the evening at around 17:00, in Prienų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 80.32), an Audi A6 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Audi (12 years of driving experience), who violated cargo-transport rules and failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
