On Friday, 10 July 2015, at night at around 23:00, in Vilnius, on Taikos street near No. 88, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Laguna, an Audi A4 and a Peugeot 206. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Renault (1 year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
