On Friday, 31 July 2015, in the evening at 17:25, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Saulažolių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 294), an Audi 80 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Audi (16 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
