On Monday, 3 August 2015, in the afternoon at 11:27, in Biržų district municipality, on P. Jakubėno street near No. 36, an Opel Astra hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.04‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
