On Tuesday, 4 August 2015, in the morning at 10:12, in Biržų district municipality, on the Biržai–Parovėja–Kyliškiai regional road (kilometre 4.80), a Volvo V70 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
