On Friday, 14 August 2015, in the afternoon at 16:30, in Prienų district municipality, on the Kaunas–Prienai–Alytus national road (kilometre 42.80), a Mazda Premacy ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Mazda (7 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. Both drivers were sober.
