On Friday, 14 August 2015, in the evening at 20:20, in Varėnos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 73.70), a Yamaha XJ 600 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Yamaha (12 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
