On Sunday, 16 August 2015, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Prienų district municipality, Šakališkių village, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 114.90), a DAF FT XF95.430 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the DAF (12 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
