On Wednesday, 19 August 2015, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kauno district municipality, Girionių village, on Girionių street, at the junction with Laumėnų street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 and a Saab 900. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Audi (13 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
