On Friday, 21 August 2015, in the evening at 19:15, in Biržų district municipality, on Upės street near No. 2A, a moped rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of a moped, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.54‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
