On Saturday, 22 August 2015, in the morning at around 9:00, in Lazdijų district municipality, on Turistų street near No. 92, at a gas station, a Volvo S60 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Volvo (1 year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
