On Wednesday, 26 August 2015, in the afternoon at 12:07, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 21.75), a Skoda Octavia hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Skoda (25 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
