On Thursday, 27 August 2015, in the morning at 5:31, in Druskininkų municipality, Lipliūnų village, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Ford Mondeo and a Renault Fluence. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Ford, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
