On Sunday, 30 August 2015, at night at 1:30, in Kaunas, on Kvėdarnos street near No. 14, at the junction with Pikulo street, a Mitsubishi Carisma hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
