On Sunday, 30 August 2015, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kaunas, on Jonavos street near No. 252, a BMW 535 D ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 80 km/h.
