On Tuesday, 15 September 2015, in the morning at 8:20, in Šilalės district municipality, Prapymo village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 243.40), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Yeti and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Skoda (16 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, there was fog, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
