On Tuesday, 15 September 2015, in the evening at 17:35, in Biržų district municipality, Būginių village, on Būginių street near No. 59, a Renault 19 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
