On Wednesday, 16 September 2015, in the morning at 8:17, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 36), a Citroen C4 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Citroen (8 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
