On Friday, 21 August 2015, in the evening at 17:40, in Kauno district municipality, Naujasodžio village, on Algirdo street, at the junction with Vasarvietės street, a Toyota Avensis Verso hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Toyota, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
