On Thursday, 24 September 2015, in the morning at around 7:00, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 47.55), a MAN TGA 18.480 4X2 BLS hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the MAN (37 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
