On Tuesday, 29 September 2015, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Varėnos district municipality, Voriškių village, on Voriškių street, at the junction with Eglyno street, a BMW 525 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
