On Saturday, 3 October 2015, at night at 1:20, in Kauno district municipality, Linksmakalnio village, a Mazda 626 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Mazda (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
