On Sunday, 4 October 2015, in the evening at 20:35, in Kauno district municipality, Girininkų village, a Volkswagen Vento rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.75‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
